Flora is now 4months old and growing rapidly, when she is laying down, she looks all legs, like a young foal, Lol.. She has been going for 'free runs' now and absolutely loves the beach, which at the moment is the only place I am able to take her, as everywhere else is so muddy and slippery. She races around like a clown, all legs and gangly. She meets lots of dogs, and needless to say, it is the males who love her. She is a right little flirt.
Her recall from them, when we are walking away, is really good, and I am pleased to say that she showed our supervisor Claire how good she was last Friday, when she came for an assessment.
Her recall running towards other dogs, isn't quite so good, so that is something that we will need to work on, but Claire was happy with everything else.
She is getting better at ignoring people in shops now, and actually laid down while I was at the check-out in Iceland today, which was good. I didn't have to fight her from fussing around people. I still have the people who will insist on coming up saying ' I must have a stroke' and even though I try to say, please don't, as she is in training , they will get a quick grab in, but she has stopped reacting so much, so maybe they will stop soon too. well, I hope so, as I don't want to have to tell her off, when it is them making her leap around.
Off to Colchester tomorrow, so hope she has her patient head on, Lol. She is a lovely little girl, and is getting better each day.
